Herbal Tea Throughout History

Herbal tea has been embraced across various cultures for centuries, serving not just as a beverage but also as a means of natural healing. Ancient civilizations, including the Chinese and Egyptians, utilized herbal mixtures for their therapeutic properties, laying the foundation for the herbal practices we recognize today. As a result, herbal tea is no longer just popular in its traditional regions; it’s now a global staple, cherished for its versatility and health benefits.

Benefits of Herbal Tea

Drinking herbal tea can provide multiple health benefits, such as improving digestion, boosting immunity, and promoting relaxation. Various herbs possess unique properties that can alleviate symptoms of common ailments, enhancing an individual’s overall well-being. As an excellent source of hydration, herbal tea also offers an enjoyable way to increase daily fluid intake while avoiding caffeine and sugars found in conventional teas and sodas.

Awareness

Desired change, more times than not, happens when we become aware we want to improve some area in our life. We take notice of a situation or circumstance we’d like to be different. Let’s take control and move through change with purposeful intentionality.

Change

Once you commit to making a change, it helps to start writing about the process. You might brainstorm ideas about things you’ll do along the path. Journaling about your progress is helpful too. It doesn’t have to be daily. Do it weekly, monthly, or at tomes when you reach milestones.

Celebrate Accomplishments

As you successfully complete items that lead to the growth you’d like to see, reward yourself for a job well done. You deserve it!

Change births more change…sometimes

You’ve reached your goal. Congratulations. Now let’s do it again. Pick a new thing you want to change. Make a plan and do it! Keep going. Life can and will be everything you make it.
